We owe you a debt of gratitude for the amazing work you did at our Summer home on Legend Lake. When we bought the log home we fell in love with it immediately and knew that the yard needed a facelift. EVERYTHING you did for us~from our first visits with Angie as we left for Maryland for the Winter, to the final walk thru when we came back in the Spring exceeded our expectations. The only guidance we were able to give you is that we wanted it to look nice from the road side AND the beach side. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw the finished product. We are still in awe at everything you were able to accomplish for us. The decorative pillars at the driveway and entry and the beach, the grand stairs down the hillside to the beach, the new stone retaining walls, the patio pavers, the new walkways, the fireplace and sitting wall, the extensive excavation work needed to open up the lakeside of the house, the plantings, the irrigation system and the beautiful lighting you chose that brings the yard to life at night turned out BETTER than we could have ever imagined!
Every service you provided from the estimates to all of the communication during the project while we were in Maryland to the final walk thru was outstanding...

I recently purchased a lake home on Legend Lake and found that the front yard was totally not usable space and that the steep hill was actually falling into the lake. I contacted the local conservation office and they recommended that I talk with Angie at Schneider and Son's out of Cecil. I left a message and soon returned a call back from Angie. She came out and looked around and within a few minutes had all kinds of ideas and starting painting a vision of what things could look like with her help. Angie also told me all about the lake permit process and even about a cost share program that she would help me get granted for our project. Afer deciding on a design she brought over John Schneider to look over the project and he had even more suggestions to make our lake home more functional. Once Angie got through the very long permit process and approval process they went full speed ahead on excavating, placing colored boulders on the shoreline, building a retaining wall at the beach and installing a beautful firepit and stairway for access to the shoreline from the house. It was AMAZING to watch John on his Bobcat transform the front into an awesome lakefront home over just a few days. I was so pleased with all the work that they did that I had them do a follow up project using the same pavers from the new walk and complete the entire house sidewalk, this really completed the whole lake house look. We CONSTANTLY get boats coming by and pointing at all the wonderful features they installed.
I TOTALLY recommend Schneider and Son's Landscaping to anyone that wants to get ideas and improve their yard or lake frontage. They were very detail oriented and efficient when working, exceptionally easy to work with on changes as we went along and cleaned up meticulously each and every day onsite.
I am a very pleased Legend Lake home owner that is very happy to have contacted Angie and John for help!
